Good Phone

Pros: Design, quality, service
Cons: touch sensitive not for me
Opinion:
I Disagree with above me or below me about the phone having all those problems with the 151 missed calls because everyone had the same problem. I have a krzr from verizon and my sis has a pink razr and we all had the same problem it was the service because if you read online they would be rebooting and changing their system and ITS NOT THE PHONES FAULT THE PHONE IS EXCELLENT MY OTHER SISTER HAS IT AND ITS AWSOME THE ONLY PROBLEM ON NEW YEARS DAY WAS THE SERVICE REBOOTING THATS THE ONLY PROBLEM EVERYONE WITH VERIZON HAD IT SO PLEASE STOP BLAMING THE PHONE!!!

Opinion:
Sorry don't mean to dig at Sal, just that I had to commend Sal for still having a great sense of humor despite all his/her woes with this phone!!

BTW, since I'm not a user of this phone, I can't rate the phone. As such, in order not to change the average rating of this phone due to me, I'm rating the phone at the current average rating (~6) i.e. I won't change the overall average rating. If you're mathematically inclined, you'd understand what I mean

 

When beauty fails to excite any longer...

Pros: Beauty, dazzling display, good sound
Cons: Hangs for no reason, fails to stay connected to network (even as it shows it does), T9 dict problems
Opinion:
I am a simple phone user, i.e. I merely call, receive calls and text. I don't even use the camera, only when I am REALLY bored. I don't use listen to music on my phone. I don't download anything... you get the picture. So when I was touted this phone about a month back, I thought hey, why not? Beauty and functionality. Not bad price tag too. So I bought... then a few days down the road, I discovered the hardness of the keys while texting. Oh well, never mind, can still bear with it. Then a few more days passed, and to my horror, I can only add one word on the T9 dictionary!!! Called up service centre, and was told sorry, you may bring it down for firmware update. Didn't bother, just bear with it. Then another week passed, and this time, it REALLY broke the camel's back. I tried sending SMS but kept giving me the message ... Read more

 

Good looks but awful performance

Cons: SMS input interface, powers off without reason, operational issues
Opinion:
Got the new phone back in July 2006, and let's face it, more for the looks. The thinking was how bad could it be - I generally use a cell phone as a phone, and for sending text messages now and then. Don't have much use for the MP3 player, camera, etc., so thought it should be alright. But I was wrong.
It's been to the shop 3 times now:
1) The keypad light stopped working one day (this is the keypad, not the screen lighting). While not critical, it's is good to have, and the only time I noticed this was when I needed to use it in the dark... Anyway, it was fixed.
2) Stopped recognizing the presence of the SIM card. Not that it was unable to read the SIM, but kept saying.."please insert SIM." Reinserting the SIM did not help. It would suddenly correct itself, and just as ... Read more

Cons: No expandable mem, batt life,
Opinion:
Your money isn't worth it if your looking at the specs of this phone. If you are a spec freak, go with the masses and aim for a Nokia or a Sony E. If you are the type who wants to stand out in the crowd, go with this one. Eyes will drop when you use this out in public. I have one, and I have to say that I'm impressed with it! It's for users who primarily call and text.
