CNET Asia Review

Excellent

8.9

out of 10

View score

The good: GPS; HSDPA; Wi-Fi; 16GB on-board memory; 8-megapixel camera with cool panorama mode.

The bad: Touch-sensitive navigation pad is fiddly to use at times; lack of xenon flash on the camera; screen could be sharper.

The bottom line: Samsung has taken us by surprise by creating an excellent handset that feels like it could have been made by Nokia. If you're looking for a high-end handset with almost every feature currently available--and then some--the i8510 is the phone for you.

Perfect so far!

Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: Speed and camera
Cons: Lack of accessories so far but more will come!
Opinion:
My last phones were: Treo 650, Treo 750v, Nokia E90, Treo 680, iPhone 1st edition, Asus P750.

All had its pros and cons but I couldn't take WM's "speed" nor E90's size. I love Palm OS but also multitasking and WIFI. Therefore, this phone is perfect with its multimedia capabilities and Symbian OS is on the way up.

Have yet to discover that I can't live without a touchscreen so far but Android will be a stern test though!
