CNET Asia Review
Excellent
The good: Slim and stylish design; solid build quality; full range of wireless features; works right out of the box; snappy performance; excellent battery life. 8.7
out of 10View score
The bad: Counter-intuitive camera autofocus; media browser could do with a little upgrade; Easy Dial feature not available.
The bottom line: The Nokia E71 is easily one of the best QWERTY smart phones that combine strong features as well as a good balance between business and entertainment, at a competitive price.

Slim, compact, versatile and multi-functional for its size
Aug 18, 2008Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: light and nice looking
Cons: qwerty keys are a bit too tiny
Opinion:
For a handphone which can dial thru' the broadband, at home or outside, the price range for this E71 is worth it. Don't forget that one has to be registered for using this phone thru' the broadband.
small keys and fonts
Aug 18, 2008Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: wifi , hsdpa.
Cons: small qwert keyboard and fonts hard to read messages
Opinion:
Sold mine the next day bought it. Its hard to write and find the right keys in writing text messages.
Best phone owned so far ....
Aug 11, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Customizable short cut keys & modes for business and personal usage, Wifi, GPS, QWERTY, long battery life...etc.
Cons: Does not take fantastic photos. Smaller screen as compared with its predecessor , but contributes to longer battery life and that is more important. 2.5mm headphone jack.
Opinion:
Almost everything anyone could wish for packed within this slim and sleek phone that fits into ones pocket perfectly. Despite its slimness which usually accompany by a weaker battery life, this phone easily last me 3 days with daily wifi and GPS connection. The QWERTY keyboard seemed a bit too packed at first sight as compared to its predecessor , but it only took me a few sms-es to get used to it.
A perfect and direct replacement for my home pc; to surf the net and checking email in the comfort of my bed.
