CNET Asia Review
Very good
The good: Excellent photo quality for its class; solid performance. 7.2
out of 10View score
The bad: Maximum ISO of 1600; no spot meter; annoying, in-viewfinder, focus-point display.
The bottom line: The Canon EOS 1000D is a good entry-level dSLR, but only its photo quality stands out among the competition.

Aug 16, 2008Rating: 6 out of 10 (Good)
Pros: Canon's phenomenal image quality is sustained in this model...
Cons: More "marketing" than new tech or features...
